TLC’s Teens Online Support Group meets regularly and is for teens ages 13-18 with any and all BFRBs! Let’s be honest, being a teenager is hard enough; being a teenager with a BFRB(s) can sometimes feel extra lonely. Middle and high school years should be full of growth and aspirations, not isolation and fear. This group will provide a safe place where teens can spend some time with their peers who can provide support, advice, and resources that have helped in their own journey with BFRBs. Topics range from responding to challenges involving family members and friends, effective coping mechanisms, what to say to those who question your BFRB, to how to deal with unique shame and judgment. We can’t wait to meet you!
